Lizzie Figa, DO

…has been on her own journey in search of healing and medicine her entire life. With the calling to go into medicine, she went to Northwestern University and summer sessions at Harvard for her premedical studies. Her first dabble into less conventional medicine began when she attended osteopathic medical school in Colorado. Here she learned to view the body as a whole and was able to combine a love of international exploration with healing by serving on medical missions to rural, underserved areas including Nepal, Peru, and Malawi. Dr. Figa interned in Corvallis, Oregon, followed by a stint at the World Health Organization where she worked in the Emergency and Essential Surgical Care Program which furthered global access to surgical care and worked on surgical guidelines for Ebola affected countries. Dr. Figa has since explored other healing modalities such as Functional Medicine, plant medicine, dream work, movement therapies and Ayurveda while she continues to work with underserved populations throughout Oregon, Colorado, and Hawaii.
